Job Description
Part-time Fire Inspector in the Fire Prevention Bureau. Conducts fire inspections of buildings and premises to identify and eliminate fire hazards, enforce the New Jersey Uniform Fire Code, and educate the public on fire safety practices. Includes initial and follow-up inspections, report writing, code enforcement, and collaboration with other departments.
Requirements: Valid NJ Fire Inspector Certification, Valid NJ Driver's License, High school diploma or GED, Minimum 3 years experience, Ability to pass background check, Able to work minimum 10 hours/week
Salary: $30 an hour
