- What certifications do fire inspector jobs require?
- Most postings ask for Fire Inspector I or II (NFPA 1031) or the ICC Fire Inspector certification, and fire marshal positions usually add Fire Investigator (NFPA 1033) and supervisory experience. Some states run their own inspector certification programs.
