Firefighter/Paramedic

Requirements:
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and under 35 years of age at the time of application unless exempt from such age limitation as provided in the Fire and Police Commissioners Act.
- Applicants must be U.S. Citizens of the United States or otherwise eligible for examination pursuant to Section 10-2.1-6(a) of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners Act (65 ILCS 5/10-2.1-6).
- Applicants must possess a high school education or its equivalent.
- Applicants must be licensed and certified as a paramedic by the Illinois Department of Public Health upon hire.
- Applicants must provide a CPAT + Ladder Climb Exercise Certificate dated no more than 18 months prior to the written exam date.
