Job Description
Non-supervisory entry-level position performing public safety work involving protection of life and property by responding to emergency incidents, fighting fires, using EMS skills, and engaging in fire code enforcement, public education, and station/equipment maintenance. Works with other Firefighter EMTs or Paramedics under supervision of a Captain.
Requirements: EMT or Paramedic certification, entry-level position, Medical Director clearance (for Paramedic pay level)
Salary: Starting pay for EMT/Firefighter: $52,020.28 Starting pay for Paramedic/Firefighter: $62,228.28 (upon clearance from the Medical Director)
