Job Description
Conducts fire safety inspections in accordance with State, Federal, and County codes, rules, regulations, and ordinances. Performs fire code inspection and enforcement, fire life safety plan review, fire protection systems evaluation, and public education/special event programs. Works under general supervision of Fire Marshal.
Requirements: High school graduate, Florida Class E Driver's License, Florida Fire Safety Inspector I certification; Preferred: Associate degree or higher, Florida Minimum Standards Firefighter Certification, Florida EMT or Paramedic Certification, Florida Fire Investigator certification, experience in fire protection systems installation/maintenance
Salary: $60,000
