Under supervision the Firefighter, Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (Level I/II) performs work in controlling and extinguishing fires; rescuing persons endangered by aircraft crash or fire, or by structural fire; preventing fire by reducing or eliminating potential fire hazards; responding to and providing assistance for medical aid calls, vehicle accidents, and Hazmat incidents.
In the process of becoming ALS accredited and providing Paramedic services.
A High school diploma or GED
Possession of a valid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation for the Professional Rescuer Certificate
Possession of a valid Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certificate
A Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) Certificate issued within the last twelve months
