Operations/ARFF Specialist

MBS International Airport is seeking qualified candidates for a dual-role position in Airport Operations and Aircraft Rescue Firefighting (ARFF). This position is responsible for maintaining compliance with FAA Part 139, ensuring the safety and security of airfield operations, and providing emergency response capabilities to aircraft incidents.

Duties include:

• Conducting daily airfield inspections and maintaining regulatory records.
• Monitoring wildlife, weather, and airfield conditions to ensure safe operations.
• Responding to aircraft and structural emergencies with firefighting and rescue services.
• Operating ARFF vehicles and specialized emergency equipment.
• Assisting with snow removal, airfield maintenance, and safety/security enforcement.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license.
• Firefighter or ARFF certification preferred; training may be provided.
• Ability to work 24 hour shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
