Firefighter (Entry-Level)

Entry-level firefighter position with the Camden Fire Department. No previous experience or training required. Applicants must pass a written exam, oral interviews, and physical agility test. Upon successful completion, applicants are placed on a hiring list valid for one year.

Requirements: U.S. citizen, high school diploma or GED, age 18-35, pass written exam and interviews, pass physical agility exam, pass physical examination and drug screen, pass background investigation, complete Firefighter Standards Course at Arkansas Fire Training Academy, obtain and maintain National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians Basic certification (or higher) within 12 months of employment

Salary: Starting base salary of up to $42,600 — plus additional holiday pay
