Firefighter

Career firefighter position with the Salisbury Fire Department. Must complete physical agility test (FEAT), oral interview, background check, physical exams, and pre-service drug screening. Eligible for sign-on bonus of $2,000, education bonus (2.5%-10% based on degree), and haz-mat certification pay increase. Includes 12 hours annual leave, 12 hours sick leave per month, plus 13 paid holidays.

Requirements: At least 18 years old, high school diploma or GED, valid North Carolina driver's license, commitment to obtain and maintain certifications (EMT, Firefighter, Inspector, etc.)
