Firefighter

Performs intermediate protective service work in driving a fire apparatus, operating pumps, and fire suppression. Work is performed under emergency conditions and frequently involves considerable personal hazard. Work schedule is a 24.25-hour shift.

Requirements: High school graduation or equivalent, considerable firefighting experience, valid NC driver's license, Level I & II Firefighter Certification, EMT-Basic certificate, residency in Watauga, Avery, Ashe, Caldwell, Wilkes or Johnson County TN

Salary: $ 56,730 plus excellent benefits
