Under general supervision, controls & extinguishes fires, protects life & property, & maintains all fire equipment. Receives & responds to fire alarms & other emergency calls performing necessary functions to efficiently handle fire ground situations. Performs fire inspections & pre-fire planning. Works a 40 hour schedule, daytime, weekdays initially, with changes to 24 hour shift schedule moving forward to include 7 day coverage for the county.
Requirements: Fire Rescue certification or ability to obtain; emergency response capability
Salary: $46,945.60 Annually
