City of Wausau Firefighter/Paramedics respond to emergencies and perform fire suppression activities, rescue work, hazardous materials response, and basic or advanced life-support emergency medical service. Current Paramedic Program Students Welcome! If you are an EMT-Basic actively enrolled in a Wisconsin Technical College System Paramedic program and are on track to obtain your Wisconsin EMT-Paramedic license, we encourage you to apply. Successful candidates may be placed on a hiring list.

Salary: $5,338.02 - $6,767.74 Monthly
