Firefighter Paramedic

The eligibility list is a continuous listing and maintained as scores are received from PST with oral board interviews conducted as vacancies occur. This listing is for current paramedics or applicants currently in a paramedic program.

Salary Information: Starting salary $6667/month with step increases over 4 years to $8354/month. Longevity incentive pay, education incentive pay.

Benefit Information: Medical/Dental/Vision premiums paid for employee and dependents and $75,000 life insurance policy for the employee. Paid vacation and Holidays. 3 platoon schedule 24/48 with 16 kelly days/year.

Requirements: Written Examination required, Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) required as described below. This agency will accept CPAT certifications from any licensed CPAT provider. Candidates must provide proof of a successful CPAT within the last twelve months prior to the oral interview. Minimum Age 18. US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident. High School Grad/GED required. Valid Washington State Driver's License required. Ability to Read, Speak & Write the English Language. Ability to pass the LEOFF 2 Medical Physical. Paramedic Certification required.
