Entry Level Firefighter

King County Fire District 27 is a combination fire department with both career 24 hour shift firefighters and volunteers.

Minimum Requirements for Career Firefighter: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Must be 21 years old. Speak and write the English language. US Citizen or authorized to work in the United States. Valid Washington State driver's license. Good Driving Record. Good Physical Condition. Be able to pass a background investigation, psychological assessment, oral interviews, and medical exam, including drug screening. Be able to pass the written general knowledge test and the physical agility test. IFSAC Firefighter I certification from an accredited, full-time fire training academy. WA State EMT certification.

Requirements: High school diploma or GED, age 21+, English language proficiency, US citizen or authorized to work, valid WA driver's license, good driving record, good physical condition, pass background investigation and psychological assessment, pass written general knowledge test and physical agility test, IFSAC Firefighter I certification, WA State EMT certification
