Volunteer Firefighter/EMT

Volunteer work is the backbone of any community and a very fulfilling way to give back. Our District was started by volunteers and exists to this day due to its volunteers. We appreciate each and every volunteer committed to giving support during a person's perhaps most difficult times, when life or property is threatened.

Today POC FIRE utilizes Volunteers, Per Diem, and Full Time Members to respond to our communities' calls.

Firefighters and medical service providers have regularly scheduled training to not only remain practiced at their volunteer duties but also to learn new protocols and procedures in ongoing education.

Recognizing that everyone has a life to live, we ask our volunteers to choose the volunteer hours they can schedule into their own busy schedule.

We currently have continuous application openings for the positions of Resident Volunteer Firefighter, Volunteer Firefighter, Volunteer EMT, and Volunteer Firefighter/EMT as well as Per Diem and Full-Time positions.
