Job Description
Volunteer firefighter position with Spokane County Fire District 4. Initial structural firefighting training academy is about 10 weeks (Wednesday nights and Saturdays, typically March-April). Must attend all required structural firefighting training and pull minimum one 12-hour shift per month at a staffed station. EMT certification not required but optional.
Requirements: Must live within five road miles of a fire station (or willing to meet this requirement), attendance at 10-week academy mandatory, minimum monthly shift commitment
