With an assessed property value of $1.8 billion and an operating budget of approximately $4 million, we are committed to providing high-quality emergency services. We proudly serve the City of Black Diamond and the Muckleshoot Indian Reservation under contractual agreements. Responding to around 2,800 alarms each year, we handle a diverse range of emergencies, with roughly 70% of our calls being medical in nature. We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team and help us continue our mission of protecting and serving our community.

When vacancies arise, positions are filled by the "rule of three," with the top three candidates forwarded to the appointing authority for background investigation and selection.
