Job Description
Clark County Fire District 6 is hiring lateral firefighter/paramedics with intent to hire at least 4 personnel beginning March 1, 2027. Lateral new hires attend an in-house fire academy and enter the Washington State JATC program. All career firefighters are members of IAFF Local 452.
Requirements: Minimum 3 continuous years full-time professional all-hazards fire department experience, Washington State EMT-P certification or National Registry EMT-P, age 21+, high school diploma/GED, valid driver's license, no adult felony convictions, pass medical exam including vision requirements, CPAT credential dated October 1, 2025 – September 30, 2026
