Job Description
Clark County Fire District 6 is hiring lateral (experienced) firefighters/EMTs for 4 positions beginning March 1, 2027. Candidates must have minimum 3 continuous years of full-time professional all-hazards fire department experience and current EMT-Basic or EMT-Paramedic certification. Lateral new hires will attend in-house fire academy and enter the Washington State JATC program.
Requirements: Minimum 3 years full-time firefighter experience, EMT-Basic or EMT-Paramedic certification (Washington State or National Registry), valid driver's license, high school diploma/GED, age 21 at hire, U.S. work authorization, CPAT completion (dated Oct 1, 2025 - Sept 30, 2026), no felony convictions, no drug use in past 5 years
