Job Description
Clark County Fire District 6 is hiring 4 Firefighter/Paramedic personnel to begin employment March 1, 2027. Entry-level recruits attend an in-house fire academy and are entered into the Washington State Firefighters JATC program. All career firefighters are members of IAFF Local 452.
Requirements: Minimum age 21, high school diploma/GED, valid state driver's license, legal work authorization, Washington State EMT-P or National Registry EMT-P certification, paramedic training accredited by CoAEMSP (if graduated after June 30, 1996), pass written exam (70% minimum), valid CPAT credentials (dated Oct 1, 2025 - Sept 30, 2026), pass medical exam, no adult felony convictions, no drug use in past 5 years, no DWI or license suspension in past 5 years
