Firefighter/EMT

Clark County Fire District 6 is establishing 18-month eligibility lists with the intent to hire at least four (4) personnel to begin employment March 1, 2027. Entry-level recruits will attend an in-house fire academy and are entered into the Washington State Firefighters Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC) program. All career firefighters are members of the firefighter's union, IAFF Local 452.

Requirements: Age 21+, High School Diploma/GED, Valid Driver's License, EMT-Basic or National Registry EMT certification, CPAT credential dated between October 1 2025 and September 30 2026, Pass written exam with minimum 70% score, Pass medical exam, Legally eligible to work in US, No adult felony convictions, No traffic crime convictions in last 5 years, No illegal drug use in last 5 years
