Job Description
Thank you for your interest in Clallam County Fire District 3. To be considered further in the hiring process, candidates must submit all required documents and successfully pass the written exam. Candidate profiles will be reviewed on an ongoing basis until the positions are filled. Entry-level submissions require: Written PST exam with a passing score. Documentation of successful CPAT completion within twelve months of the written exam. CPAT certifications from other agencies will also be accepted and may be uploaded under the required documents section. Uploaded copies of all required documents. A current, completed Personal History Statement (PHS). Expired PHS forms will not be accepted.

The District serves a 142 square mile area in and around Sequim. The population of the District is approximately 40,000. The District has six stations; three of those stations are staffed, three are volunteer. The District currently has 55 career suppression staff, 6 administrative staff, 4 maintenance division staff, 3 part-time staff and approximately 50 volunteers. The District responds to over 9,000 incidents per year.
Requirements: Minimum age 18, High school diploma/GED, Valid Washington State Driver's License, EMT Certification, U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in U.S., ability to read/speak/write English, LEOFF II vision standards, pass written exam, pass CPAT within 12 months of exam, pass NFPA 1582 medical exam, pass psychological evaluation, pass drug screen, pass background investigation
Salary: $6,637.39 – $9,481.98/mo.
