Part Time Firefighter/EMT

Sedro-Woolley Fire Department - Part Time Firefighter/EMT has 12 vacancies. The eligibility list is a continuous listing and maintained as scores are received from PST with oral board interviews conducted on an as-needed basis. Vacancies are filled by Civil Service "rule of five" with the top five candidates forwarded to the appointing authority for background investigation & selection as vacancies occur. Requirements: Minimum Age 18, US Citizen/Lawful Permanent Resident, High School Grad/GED required, Driver's License required, Ability to Read, Speak & Write the English Language, Vision correctable to 20/20, Written Examination required, CPAT required (PST or any verifiable and valid CPAT to be considered, must not be more than 6 months older than application deadline), Firefighter 1 Certification required, EMT Certification (must currently hold certification as a National Registered Emergency Medical Technician), Prior FF Experience required, Prior EMT Experience required, 1 year experience preferred but not required, College recommended but not required.
