Important Information
All Candidates: are required to complete the Personal History section with PST. Lateral Paramedic : Candidates are not required to take a written PST exam. Lateral candidates are not required to take a PST CPAT. Qualified candidates will be invited to attend an Oral Board Interview. After successful completion of the initial testing process, eligible candidates will be invited to a Chief's interview. A background investigation, psychological testing, and medical exam will take place after conditional offer of employment. Veteran's Credit may be available. If requesting Veteran's Credit, please submit a DD214 Form prior to confirmation of attending an Oral Board/Practical Assessment.

PAY & BENEFITS
• Schedule 48/144
• Vacation: 6-13 (24 hour) days earned per year
• Sick leave: 18 hours per month
• Longevity pay: 1.5% per 5 years continuous employment
• Retirement through Washington State LEOFF II
• Deferred Compensation contribution of 5% by the city

• $75.00/mo. contribution to the Medical expense Reimbursement Plan hosted by the WSCFF and $15.00/mo. contribution to LEOFF II disability insurance plan.
• Uniforms/Equipment: initial uniforms/safety equipment provided. $10,000 Life Insurance policy provided by the City.

Requirements: Age 18, U.S. Citizen or Legal Resident, High School Diploma/GED, Valid Driver's License, No felony convictions, Current Washington State EMT-P Certification, Firefighter 1 Certification (or will be required to attend approved IFSAC Fire Academy), Minimum 1 year verifiable experience as full-time Paid Firefighter/Paramedic with successful completion of probationary period, Ability to read/speak/write English, Pass vision exam and medical examination

Salary: $7,640.43-$9,248.95 per month
