Fire Lieutenant

The Career Lieutenant provides first-line supervision, leadership and guidance to personnel assigned to a station and supports the Career Captain in maintaining effective communication and coordination between firefighters and department staff. When assigned as a company officer, the Lieutenant is responsible for the supervision, safety and operational direction of assigned personnel during emergency incidents.

Schedule: 3-platoon shift schedule with 13 Kelly days

Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications outlined in the position announcement, including required fire service experience/certification, NREMT certification, NWCG Firefighter 1 certification, and other requirements.
