Firefighter/EMT

Entry-level position. The Aberdeen Fire Department utilizes National Testing Network for testing for entry-level positions. When the department has the need to create a new eligibility list, it will use a list of the top scoring candidates that meet the minimum qualifications as provided by National Testing Network. Top scoring candidates will be invited to participate in an oral board interview process conducted by the Aberdeen Fire Department.

Requirements: At least 18 years of age, Valid Washington State Driver's License or ability to obtain by date of hire, High School Graduate or GED, IFSAC Firefighter I, Washington State or National Registry EMT Certification with ability to obtain State Certification, Current CPAT, Ability to pass extensive background checks including criminal, psychological and medical screening

Salary: $6,825 - $8,530
