Job Description
The Aberdeen Fire Department utilizes National Testing Network for testing for entry-level positions. When the department has the need to create a new eligibility list, it will use a list of the top scoring candidates that meet the minimum qualifications as provided by National Testing Network. Top scoring candidates will be invited to participate in an oral board interview process conducted by the Aberdeen Fire Department.
Current Opening Process/Timeline:
- Applications Due: November 4, 2026
- Oral Board Interviews for Qualified Candidates: November 10, 2026
- Chief's Interviews of Top Candidates: November 16 - 20, 2026
- Expected Conditional Job Offer: November 23-25, 2026
- Official Job Offer upon satisfactory completion of the pre-employment process
