Job Description
Isle of Wight County Fire Rescue is seeking interested applicants for a full-time Fire Medic II (Advanced EMT) position. Under general supervision, the purpose of the position is to provide Emergency Medical Services (EMS), fire protection in emergency and non-emergency situations. Employees in this classification perform skilled work. Position is responsible for operating an approved mobile medical unit; rescuing victims; and performing advanced emergency care, including the administration of life sustaining treatment to patients on-site and while in route to the hospital. Performs related work as required.
Requirements: Advanced EMT certification, fire protection experience
Salary: $56,777.00 - $75,229.00 Annually
