Job Description
Join the Troy Volunteer Fire Department as a volunteer firefighter protecting your community. Candidates must live or work within 3 miles of a Troy Fire Station, be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma/GED, possess a valid Michigan driver's license, and pass background check, medical exam, and physical agility test. Complete Firefighter I & II training academy (fully funded by City of Troy).
Requirements: Age 18+, high school diploma or GED, valid Michigan driver's license, live or work within 3 miles of Troy Fire Station, pass background check, medical examination, physical agility test, CPR and AED training
Salary: $75,000 after 10 years of service; additional $10,000 to $15,000 every 5 years after
