Job Description
Entry-level firefighter position with South Montgomery County Fire Department. Requires Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP) Basic Firefighter certification and EMT-Basic certification by hire date. Starting salary of $64,503.66 based on 9-day rotation with 13 scheduled platoon days off annually.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED, minimum 18 years old, valid Texas driver's license (Class B within 1 year), TCFP Basic Firefighter certification, TDSHS EMT-Basic certification, pass criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen, and health physical
