Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee an invitation to test, an interview, or employment. Applicants who successfully complete the testing process may be considered for an interview based on department needs and the strength of the candidate pool.

Requirements: At least 18 years of age, valid Texas driver's license, legally authorized to work in the United States, Texas firefighter certification or EMT certification (or currently enrolled in fire academy or EMT program)
