Job Description
Volunteer firefighter position with the Elderville-Lakeport VFD. No previous experience required; department provides training through grants and in-house programs. Also offers Fire Support Volunteer positions assisting certified firefighters on calls.
Requirements: At least 18 years old, good physical and mental condition, valid driver's license, pass criminal background check (no felony convictions or pending indictments), pass drug screen, complete NIMS online classes (ICS 100, 200, 700, 800), complete Courage to be Safe and National Traffic Incident Management Responder courses within 6 months, attend minimum 4 training meetings within 6 months
