Certified Firefighter/EMT

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma / GED; No unacceptable criminal or driving histories will be permitted; Must be at least 18 years of age; Applicant must be able to physically perform the job duties as assigned; Valid Texas Driver License; Must be able to provide proof of certification within 30 days of application date; Current TCFP Firefighter Basic or higher (verifiable at the time of testing); Must have successfully completed National Registry exam prior to application; Current TDSHS EMT-B or higher (verifiable at the time of testing); Out of State Fire Certifications with appropriate Firefighter I and II IFSAC Seal are acceptable.
