Firefighter

Under general supervision, the purpose of the position is to perform fire prevention, fire suppression, rescue duties, and act as Firefighter-EMT / Paramedic. Employees in this classification perform highly skilled, technical-level work. The position is responsible for providing life and property protection. Performs related work as required.

Compensation & Benefits:

Requirements: Age 18+, U.S. Citizen or legal resident, High school diploma or GED, TCFP Basic Firefighter with Texas DSHS Paramedic or NREMT Paramedic, OR Texas DSHS Paramedic or NREMT Paramedic only, OR TCFP Firefighter with DSHS EMT or NREMT EMT, Valid driver's license or ability to obtain Texas Class B License, Pass NFPA 1582 medical examination, Pass Physical Ability Test
