Job Description
Volunteer firefighters respond to fire alarms, medical assists, and emergency cases. Duties include extinguishing fires, equipment maintenance, training participation, and may include specialized rescue services such as hazardous materials, confined space rescue, extrication, and technical rescues.
Requirements: Age 18+ (16+ for auxiliary), valid Texas Driver's License, good moral character, drug-free, pass criminal background check (no felonies or class B misdemeanors in last 7 years), minimum 12 trainings and 160 fire calls per year, Fire Ground Duty Evaluation completion
