Job Description
The Marion Fire Department is accepting applications for a Career Firefighter. The candidate will respond to fire and other emergency calls and perform duties related to fire suppression, working under general supervision and stressful, high-risk conditions to ensure public safety and welfare.
Requirements: At least 18 years old, high school diploma or GED, valid SC driver's license, Firefighter II certified or willing to attend SCFA recruit school. Must pass written exam, physical agility test, interview, SLED background check, drug test, and medical physical.
