Firefighter

Full-time firefighter position with West Florence Fire Department operating on a rotating 48-hour shift (48 hours on duty, 96 hours off duty). Firefighters respond to fire suppression, hazardous materials responses, rescue operations, and medical assistance calls. Heavy physical work involving lifting 50-75 pounds regularly and over 100 pounds frequently.

Requirements: At least 18 years old, U.S. citizen, high school diploma or equivalent, valid SC driver's license, Firefighter I certification (Firefighter II preferred), Haz-Mat Ops, NIMS 100.b/200.b/700.a/800.b, Basic Auto Extrication, EMR Certification, clean 10-year driving record

Salary: $34,000 - $42,000 per year depending on experience
