Part-time Firefighter/EMT

We are accepting applications for the position of Part-time FF/EMT. The Swarthmore Fire & Protective Association ("SFPA") is currently accepting new applications for Part time Firefighter/EMT positions.

EACH APPLICANT FOR THE POSITION OF FIRE FIGHTER/EMT:
Must have attained twenty one (21) years of age on or before the date of application. Must be a high school graduate or have attained the equivalent thereof (G.E.D. Certificate). Shall be in every way physically qualified to sustain the labors and exposures of the position. Must possess a current, valid Driver's License. Must pass background checks. Must possess Proboard Firefighter 2 certificate (or equivalent). Must possess Pennsylvania EMT certification or National Registry. Must possess Pennsylvania Pump Operations I certificate (or equivalent). Must possess Department approved Emergency Vehicle Operations certification. Must possess Department approved Hazmat Operations certification. Must possess NIMS 100, 200, 700, and 800 certificates.
