Volunteer Firefighter

Members involved in fire suppression, search and rescue, vehicle rescue, emergency apparatus operation (drivers) and other on-scene duties as needed.

The fire company requires all type of assistance to operate effectively. From members who respond to emergencies, to those who help with fundraising and planning, there is a role for everyone in the community to help.

As a 100% volunteer fire company, our members must also manage aspects such as finance, fundraising, marketing, grounds or equipment maintenance and recruitment and retention. Members in these roles contribute their knowledge in banking, human resources and other areas of trade or business, not immediately thought of as roles available at a volunteer fire company. If you have experience in these roles, we have a place for you.
