Job Description
Scholarship program for college-enrolled students pursuing fire/EMS education. Provides tuition assistance ($2,700 per term) and firefighting experience through work with career and volunteer firefighters. Includes possible residency at a local fire station and mobilization/upstaffing pay if qualified.
Requirements: Currently enrolled in Fire/EMS college courses, GPA 2.75 or higher, pass criminal background check and medical examination, ten 24-hour shifts per month commitment, obtain Firefighter and/or EMS certifications
Salary: $2,700 per term, four terms per year ($10,800 annually)
