Seasonal Firefighter

Seasonal wildland firefighter position with Mosier Fire District running from June 15, 2023 to September 30, 2023 (tentatively). Responsibilities include wildland fire response, responding to standard calls for service alongside volunteers, participation in training, and administrative duties as assigned by Fire Chief. Maximum 32 hours per week with 8-hour shifts.

Requirements: NWCG Firefighter 2 (minimum); NWCG Firefighter 1, NFPA (or Oregon equivalent) Firefighter 1, NFPA Fire Apparatus Driver/Operator, and NWCG Crew Boss (preferred); proof of certification required at time of application

Salary: $20.25 per hour
