Job Description
Full-time Firefighter/Paramedic position accepting both non-certified and certified lateral transfer applications. Works 24-hour shifts on a California Swing schedule (every other day for 5 days, followed by 96 hours off). City pays for education and training to obtain paramedic certification for non-certified applicants.
Requirements: Must be 18 years old, Firefighter Level II and EMT-B certifications required. Certified lateral transfer applicants must hold Ohio Firefighter Level II and Paramedic Certifications and have prior experience working as a Firefighter/Paramedic with another fire department
Salary: Pay Range (Certified Firefighter/Paramedic): $67,990.52 - $87,447.88 Starting Pay (Non-Certified): $63,990.52
