Job Description
The City of Union Fire Department is currently accepting applications for part-time Firefighter/EMT and Firefighter/Paramedic positions. Located in northern Montgomery County and southern Miami County, Union is a growing community with a rapidly expanding industrial area near the Dayton International Airport. The department responds to approximately 1,400 calls for service annually and operates a modern apparatus fleet.
Part-time personnel work 12- or 24-hour shifts every 6th day, may work up to 1,500 hours per year, and are compensated at competitive rates. Positions are open until filled. Interested candidates should complete the application below and submit it along with a resume.
The City of Union works in partnership with the Englewood Fire Department in a collaborative that spans 3 firehouses that respond to approximately 5,500 calls for service annually.
