Career Firefighter/Paramedic (Lateral)

The Clearcreek Fire District is a progressive and growing fire protection district between Dayton and Cincinnati in Southwest Ohio. The District is accepting applications to establish an eligibility list for the Career Firefighter/EMT or Career Firefighter/Paramedic position.

The process will include a physical agility test ( Firefighter Mile or CPAT ), virtual/in-person interview(s), panel interview(s), final interview, psychological evaluation, polygraph examination, and an extensive personal history evaluation and medical examination, which includes drug testing. Candidates will be advised of their status throughout the process. All scheduled dates and times are subject to change as the process progresses.

Lateral Paramedics starting salary range is $82,410 - 88,280 depending on experience level, plus other transferable benefits. Preference is given as department needs dictate for specific subject matter specialists (EMS specialist, Rescue Technician, Hazmat specialist, Prevention).
