Lateral Firefighter/Paramedic

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS: Be State of Ohio Certified FFII (or equivalent accepted by the State of Ohio and State of Ohio certified Paramedic Worked 2,496 hours with a full-time Fire Department in the State of Ohio within the last year Pass the physical agility test administered by the Fire Department or administered on its behalf, unless so waived by the sole discretion of the Appointing Authority due to the passing of a similar test administered by their current employer SUPPORT FOR CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Paid Fire/EMS Continuing Education – 60 hours per year Tuition reimbursement Special Teams offerings: Technical Rescue, Dive/Water Rescue, Hazmat
