Job Description
The Akron Fire Department provides Firefighter/Medics with paid training during the Fire Academy, excellent benefits, and skill advancement throughout their careers. Firefighter/Medics work 8-9 days a month after training alongside an inclusive team. Qualified applicants will receive a test voucher to take the National Testing exam.
Requirements: Meet minimum qualifications at time of examination and appointment; valid driver's license implied
Salary: $31.53 Hourly, After graduation from the academy, Firefighter/Medics earn $34.60/hour
