Job Description

Fire Engineers operate and maintain fire apparatus and firefighting equipment, provide emergency medical service, and perform firefighting, technical rescue, and hazardous materials response. They train volunteers, participate in incident response, conduct fire inspections, and serve as incident commanders when needed.

Requirements: Valid North Carolina Class B driver's license, Firefighter/Rescue/Driver Operator/Pumps Certification, Wildland Firefighting Certification, high school graduation, considerable firefighting experience preferred

Salary: $47,112 - $51,823 depending upon experience and qualifications
