Job Description
This position is responsible for responding to emergency calls, at the paramedic level, to determine the extent of illness or injury and establishing priorities for required care; performing emergency medical care in accordance with established guidelines and written and verbal instructions from physicians. Other duties include administering medications and IV solutions and inserting airways; transporting persons to the appropriate medical facilities; and performing related tasks as required.
This is a 24-hour position.

Requirements: High school graduation or equivalent supplemented by EMT, Advanced EMT, and Paramedic courses from North Carolina State Office of EMS, minimum two years' experience and training in emergency medical care preferred, State of N.C. driver's license, State of N.C. certification as an EMT at the Paramedic level
Salary: $50,017-$55,994
