Fire/EMT - Per Diem

Per-diem Firefighter/ Emergency Medical Technician Positions The Town of Barrington is accepting applications for per-diem employment. Shifts are scheduled as needed and run 6 am-6 pm daily. Position Responsibilities include but are not limited to, response to fire & emergency medical emergencies, inspection and maintenance of department vehicles and equipment, fire prevention activities and inspections. Barrington responds to about 1200 calls for assistance per year. Minimum qualifications required: • 18 years of age • High School Diploma or GED • Valid Motor Vehicle Driver’s License. (Hourly increase for valid CDL) • National Registered and NH Licensed Emergency medical Technician • Pro-board certified Firefighter I certification (Firefighter II preferred) • Pass a pre-employment criminal and driving background check • Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening Benefits include: • Salary range $22.60-$26.46 per hour depending on certifications. • Weekend shift differential • Double Time for town holidays To apply: Submit a cover letter, and town employment application.
