Volunteer Firefighter

- Retirement benefits - The Sayville Fire Department participates in the NY State LOSAP program. The program is based on your years of service and the capacity of your service. Qualifying members are eligible to receive monthly benefit checks starting at age 60.

Who Can Volunteer: Any man or woman residing in the Sayville Fire District in who is at least 18 years old and would like to make a difference in their community.

Some of the Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must reside in the Sayville Fire District
- Must pass department medical physical each year.

Requirements: At least 18 years old, resident of Sayville Fire District, pass annual medical physical
